I'm so happy today!
I found a new game category on Microsoft's Store on cooking/serving food, and all these games are great and right up my alley! It's like my favorite mobile app game, Egg, Inc., they're teaching me in my goals to serve people in a cafe, exist in flow state, and strategize with business.
I didn't know what to do with leftover celery, so I decided to make some soup stock with it. It's funny, in the past I would have just thrown the leftover veggie scraps in the trash and felt sad, but now I can be happy with a healthy veggie stock option to add.
For the celery stalks, I parboiled them so that some of the dirt that was still clinging onto the fiber lifted off the stalks and into the boiling water. I drained the water, removed the celery, and cut off any remaining bits that still had dirt stubbornly stuck to the celery, and put them in my composting jars (I have an open-facing mason jar and a leftover pasta sauce glass jar that I use).
I simmered the celery on low heat with some salt. But now that I think about it, it might need more simmering.
I also went out and de-weeded the front lawn - some neighbor walked by with his pet white dog (those little ones that used to be so popular when I visited Korea once) or some similar breed. A Maltese? He said, "A lot of weeds," and I said, "Yes, yes a lot of weeds."
This morning, I was empowered to go jogging for the first time in a long time, luckily no pain, but my stamina has decreased drastically due to low protein intake. I wish I could have gotten that Thanksgiving turkey, but I was weirded out by the Food Bank volunteers who said, "Go!! Go!! down the road" - it's kind of weird when someone rushes you and pressures you / commands you to do something, and I was feeling very tired from walking / low energy from chronic low food intake. It was also a drastic change from their previous voices, so I was kind of ??? Maybe it was their genuine voice, and they were masking less, I noticed Ron's voice had more of a Spanish (maybe Mexican Spanish?) accent hint to it, and the other one, the one with the sky blue aura, the one who reminded me of my high school British principal (very sweet), and had more of an active throat chakra, suddenly reminded me of Lara from the way she talked to Ron about finding a bus. Anyway, that's in the past.
Gotta keep going -- continuing to practice body awareness with my scoliosis.
