Hello! And welcome to the 3rd post of Pizza Rat's Paradise.


 

This is to celebrate and honor the first time I was able to try ceviche as a part of DineLA's program.


This is the only remaining memento left of the meal - a fine dessert, if I do say so myself.


Upon further inspection, one can notice that the orange fruit is actually a goldenberry, or a Peruvian groundcherry -- a fruit closely related to the tomatillo -- one can observe this by observing how both are grown encased in a papery-thin husk one must peel to get to the fruit.
