Lately I've been playing around with different ingredients, and was wondering what to do with celery (other than make Southern-style dishes), and I recalled one of my favorite childhood snacks was Ants On A Log.
If you aren't familiar, it's a very simple snack with 3 ingredients:
Celery Sticks
Peanut Butter
Raisins
Celery sticks, slathered on with peanut butter, and a sprinkling of raisins on top.
It's quite tasty, and has lots of healthy nutrients, and is extremely kid-friendly! & Very simple to make.
Celery isn't my most favorite vegetable, so I'll have to figure out some other way to make use of it, perhaps in a veggie broth.
If I can't really brainstorm it, I will just put it into compost.
